The bigger saving is can size. Soulistic Pure Bliss Tuna costs about 63 cents an ounce in 3-ounce cans, 44 cents in 5.5-ounce cans and 39 cents in 10-ounce cans. If your cat finishes an opened can within a day or two, the larger size cuts the cost by a third or more.
Why the Weruva connection matters
Soulistic is not a copy of Weruva or a brand that happens to use a similar supplier. It is made by Weruva, in Weruva’s facility, to the same standards.
That facility is in Thailand and it also produces food for people. It holds BRC certification, a globally recognised food safety standard originally developed for human food retail, which sets requirements for hygiene, traceability and hazard control that ordinary pet feed plants are not held to.
Here is why that is the single most useful thing to know about this brand. Almost every large pet food recall in the last two decades traced back to a contamination event at a shared contract manufacturer, taking several unrelated brands down together. A plant already running human food lines under BRC audit is structurally less likely to be that plant.

So what is the catch?
There is one, and it is worth stating plainly rather than pretending the price gap is free money.
- Recipe variety is narrower than Weruva’s own range, which is far larger and includes more unusual protein combinations.
- Some recipes are supplemental, not complete. Check the AAFCO statement on the label before feeding any of them as a sole diet.
- Tuna features heavily, as it does across the parent brand, so rotate rather than feeding one recipe indefinitely.
- Distribution is narrower. Soulistic is sold through fewer retailers than Weruva, which matters if your usual store stops carrying it.
